The original Working for the City blew us away when it was released. It was better than most of the big name production snowboard films and featured tons of Minnesota riders. Well, this sequel definitely lives up to the standards set by the original. Watch as Jesse Paul, Colin Wilson, Cole Linzmeyer, and others destroy street spots that you may recognize.
We haven’t heard a lot from Jesse Paul this year compared to how much coverage he has gotten in the past. It turns out he was just stacking footage for an insane 1-minute video part! Well played Jesse, well played.
Jake Durham has been producing creative snowboard edits for years under the name Make Friends or Die. This time he dropped his latest edit right around Christmas time titled “We Broke.” There are too many good riders to list, but let’s just say you shouldn’t miss this one. While you’re at it, maybe you should check out some of the Make Friend’s goods online.
The Downtown Throwdown went down in Minneapolis for the first time last weekend. Even though the weather was a little nasty, the riders still put on a great show. Creative lines were being thrown all over the place, but in the end it was local Ryan Paul who walked away with first place. Congrats Ryan! Check out this great edit that Snowboarder Mag put together of the Throwdown.
Jon Stark from Working for the City surprised us a couple weeks ago with the first Elmentary episode. Now, he has released the second installment, and this one is a jaw-dropper. We are speechless.
