Wild Mountain has been open the last two weekends with fun setups to get your early-season shred on. If you didn’t make it out last weekend you missed out on some good times, but luckily Danny Kutnink was there to produce a slick little edit for you. How could you go wrong with a soundtrack like this?

Looks like Wild Mountain and Trollhaugen opened up today for a little fun. They are only open till 3 but it looks like Wild is planning on opening again tomorrow from 11-3 if weather permits. Wild has Front Stage & Dandy are open with a rope; features include the Poop Rail, Flat Box, Dance Floor and Trap Rail. No news on the Tollhaugen’s schedule tomorrow but they were letting you ride for free today but had no lift access. We’ll try to keep you posted with news tomorrow morning.

The Wild Mountain $1000 Rail Jam by Seekjoy Productions was a couple weeks ago, but the fun is still in our minds. We were there taking pictures while the Seekjoy crew was filming some moving images. Check out the highlight video from the event and keep hoping for some real snow soon.

This past weekend was the Wild Mountain $1000 Rail Jam put on by SeekJoy Productions. We were astounded by the turnout of competitors and gawkers alike. From our experience most of these events, while amusing, are best defined as disorganized and bland. This on the other hand had all the elements to be considered more of a spectacle than just an event. Organization, proper setup, huge prizes, DJ spinning the tunes, interesting production, large turnout, quality/entertaining play by play and wonderful weather were all featured and we couldn’t be happier with how SeekJoy put together their first Jam. We tried to get as many photos as possible and hopefully got some of almost all the riders. CHECK THEM OUT HERE, use them wisely and give it up for SeekJoy!

The snowboard season in most of Minnesota has come and gone, but now the final day edits are starting to roll in. This one comes to us from Erik Ralles and was filmed during the last day of shred at Wild Mountain. Featured riders include Dave Parker, Austin Young, and Krister Ralles. Make sure you get yourself to Wild Mountain this Sunday for the “Ollies for Alzheimers” contest. Registration is from 10am-11am and the contest is from 11am-1pm. They will also be holding their “Demo Days” event so make sure you get out there early to check out all the new gear.

Wild Mountain was once again open before Halloween and SeekJoy Productions was there to document it. The first winter season edit of the year from them features great riding by Josh Tranby, Tony Young and more. If you didn’t get a chance to ride the White Ribbon at Wild, you blew it. Wild Mountain will be closed this week but hopes to be open again this weekend. Keep your eyes peeled for your next opportunity to shred, but until then feast your eyes on some Minnesota footy.

For all those who can’t wait to hit the slopes Wild Mountain opened yesterday and Trollhaugen opened today. They both have one lift/run open. Wild Mtn. has the Expressway run and have put out three boxes (flatbox, hourglass, battleship) and Troll has Nissebakken open with a handrail and funbox. It will only set you back $10 to ride and Wild is open 9:30-5 while Troll is 1-8. They are waiting on the conditions to determine what the plan will be for tomorrow and the following week. So if you want to get out and enjoy the first run of snow Wild Mountain and Trollhaugen are the place to be, just be ready to dodge some mud and get a little wet. On this Saturday (Dec. 19th) at 5pm, the FL Project will be sponsoring some games of SnoDice! The games will be at Wild Mountain and it’s only $5 to ride. This is all about FUN and raising some money for the Wild Mountain Snow Park, so head over to Wild this Saturday and roll some dice with the FLP crew and help us raise money for YOUR snow park.  There might even be some goodies being tossed around for those that are involved!  Keep supporting the FL Project whenever possible because they put on great events like this!
