While the rest of us are outside sweating in the Minnesota sun, Ryan Paul has been busy shredding at Mount Hood in Oregon.  High Cascade campers have had the pleasure this summer of watching Ryan destroy every rail available in the park.  Ryan even has then ender of the Session 3 High Cascade video which will leave you with an “o” face.  If you have never been to Mount Hood during the summer, be sure to check out High Cascade and Windell’s who run the 2 major snowboard camps on the mountain. Ryan Taylor is a very well known photographer around the Twin Cities.  You will spot him at most Minnesota events no matter if it is skateboarding, wakeboarding, or snowboarding.  I’ve always been blown away by his work with a still camera, but this video truly shows his skills in video editing too.  This was filmed on a GoPro HD camera which is actually pretty affordable.  I bet this video will make you want to buy one…  Watch the video here by clicking the “read more” link below or by clicking the image above.

Minnesota local Ryan Paul has been having an amazing end to his season this year.  This spring he took all money he had to his name and headed west, it turned out to be a great choice.  Ryan recently placed 1st in both the Volcom PB&J Championships and the Mammoth West Coast Invitational.  Riders from all over the country were shocked by his come out of nowhere win at the West Coast Invitational.  He finished off his night at Mammoth with a Front Flip to 5050 to 180 out!  How’s that for a banger?!?!  Congrats Ryan, you deserve it.  Click the “read more” link or the image above to watch the madness.

If you snowboarded a long time ago, you know exactly what a Black Snow Snowboard was.   For all of the young kids out there, I will explain it a little bit.  Black Snow Snowboards were the kind of boards that you were scared to ride because they were so cheaply made.  They first made their debut in the early 80′s but weren’t allowed at many ski resorts because of their lack of metal edges.  The Canadian Ski Museum website has a little more info about them.  Anyways, enough with the history lesson and on with the video.  The video features Jonas Michilot tearing up Hyland on one of these safety hazard Black Snow boards…  This video will make you rethink buying the latest and greatest snowboard every year.  Watch the video by clicking the “read more” link below or the picture above.
