While we are all sitting here wondering what do with ourselves during the off-season, Ryan Paul is out at Bear Mountain in California. He obviously is making a name for himself because he was featured one of the popular Bear Mountain Sunday in the Park videos recently. The Faction Boardshop has announced the “Faction Challenge” which will be a jump and rail contest. The event will be held at Andes Tower Hills in Kensington Minnesota for all you Western residents. Faction recently announced that their will be a $250 cash prize for this event. Registration will be from 10-11am so get their early to ensure your spot for the contest which starts at 12pm noon. Make sure to get out there and support Faction Boardshop who has been doing a great job of representing Minnesota snowboarding.
The backyard park at Summit Boardshop is now up and running complete with a tow rope. There are several different jibs for you to session. Wisconsin local Ethan Deiss has been getting a ton of press this year after releasing a mind-blowing video part. He came out of no-where and impressed snowboarders from all over the country.
