Transworld has been busy filming all season for their new video “In Color” which is due out next fall. They recently released an edit of their “B-roll” footage and it features a ton of Minnesota riders and spots that you may recognize. Another great Frozen Chozen Tour has came and went. If you made it to any of the events, you know that this is one of the best event series around the Midwest. SeekJoy Productions recently made a visit to the 2nd Annual Winch Fest. The fun was hosted by the ‘Brothers Miller’ at the Miller Compound in Dirty Dota. A very interesting twist on a Midwest snowboard jam, and a fun edit to watch brought to you by SeekJoy. To me it looks like Josh Tranby put on quite the show. The final event of the Summit Boardshop Pro/Am series “ShredaMania” is coming up soon. ShredaMania will be on February 26th at 6pm and the location will be the Summit Backyard Park in Lake Elmo. For this final event there is a $3000 purse to be awarded! There will also be “Free Beer” for all the over-21 people in attendance… Even if you don’t like to watch snowboarding, get out there and support local shops by buying some of their gear that’s on sale!
Last weekend, Transworld Snowboarding hosted their annual TransAm Event at Buck Hill. If you have ever been to one of these events, you know that is one of the best mini-shred setups around. Tons of riders showed up to throw down, but Easton Gilman and Emily Blewitt walked away with first place and an invite to the TransAm finals at Bear Mountain in California. Recently Will Bateman has been spending some time in Minnesota and here is a video part from his adventures. The video was shot at Hyland Ski Area and features some fun riding from Jonas Michilot, Will Bateman, and Ricky Tucker. It’s kind of interesting to watch the tricks in slow motion.
