Red Bull’s Ice Rail

Red Bull Winch Sessions, Ice Rail

Red Bull seems to have an unlimited supply of money and they like to throw it at any crazy idea they can dream up. This concept turns out some creative locations, innovative ideas and amazing videos. This time they pulled together JD Webb, Adam Errington, Minnesota’s own Josh Tranby and even an appearance from Ryan Taylor for some unconventional wakeboarding that only the midwest can produce; The Ice Rail. Take a frozen lake, a chainsaw, a winch and a lot of manpower and you’ve got a wakeboarding set-up like no other. Check out the video to see where your money goes every time you pick up some energy infused Red Bull.

The First Minnesota Cable Wake Park

wakePark2010

Recently, a company called 10k Wakes opened up a cable operated Wakeboard park in New Germany Minnesota.  It is a first of its kind in Minnesota, but the concept has been proven in several other places around the country.  The park uses the Sesitec 2.0 Cable system that has been highly regarded as the best cable setup in the industry.  The Wake Park lake is setup with several rails and kickers for you to get your fix.  Now even if you don’t know anybody with a boat, you can get out and kill the sliders.  Please visit the 10k Wakes website for more details and current pricing.  Check out more photos of the action from photographer Ryan Taylor by clicking the link below.
