FreshTip design is back to put on one of their biggest events ever. This event will be a a 2-pool winch powered rail jam in Minneapolis. Tons of top amateur riders and showcased pros have been invited to the event. The event will start in the afternoon and run until 10pm! That’s right, it’s a whole day of shredding urban style. The after party will be at Cowboy Slims in uptown if you are into “adult beverages.” Come support the industry during a time of recession! The main event will be located in the street on Girard Ave South in between Lake and Lagoon Streets.

Help The FL Project Design a Shirt

The FL Project is in need of one more design for their back to school 2009 line up. Now is your chance to put the pen to the paper or murder out a design on your computer. You are in full graphic control, if you want to use the shop name in your design go for it, if not no worries they will add one on the sleeve or back print. All entries need to be in by 8pm on July 30th. Winner will be announced on or before the 10th of August.

S.K.A.T.E. Contest Hosted by FL Project

The FL Project in Forest Lake will be hosting a game of S.K.A.T.E. on July 11th. This event will be sponsoring by CIRCA and has a prize payout of $200. Get out there and also check out some live art by local artist Mark Rivard. Contest starts at noon so don’t sleep all day.

Minnesota Wakeboard Series

The Minnesota wakeboarding season is upon us again, and for the first time the SHRED 101 Minnesota Wakeboard Tour is coming to a town near you. We have five dates on our schedule this year (see attached flyer ), plus numerous events around the state to spread the love of shred. Or first event is this upcoming Saturday JUNE 6The at the FOREST LAKE park. in Forest Lake. Registration will begin at nine, but we will be around earlier if you would like to register before that. The contest will start at ten a.m.The Wake contest is $35.00, plus a $40.00 one time season membership fee for the World Wake Association. You can also purchase additional insurance for $20.00 more. ALL AGES AND ABILITY LEVELS ARE WELCOME for the wake event. Three of the five events on the schedule have rail jams. The rail jams will cost $25.00 and are open to ANYONE WITH RAIL/SLIDER EXPERIENCE. Also You must ride in the wake contest to compete in the rail jam section of the contest. There will be prizes for the behind the boat contest and a CASH PRIZE for the rail jam. Spring Rail Jams

If you haven’t quite had enough of snowboarding for the year, be sure to check out the upcoming spring rail jams at Spirit Mountain and Wild Mountain. Starting this weekend on Saturday May 9th you can head up to Duluth and check out the annual Damage Revisted Rail Jam hosted by Damage Boardshop. Then the following Saturday after that, cruise north to Wild Mountain for their 2nd annual AmThrash Spring Rail Jam. Check out the events section of the site for more details.
