Transworld has been busy filming all season for their new video “In Color” which is due out next fall. They recently released an edit of their “B-roll” footage and it features a ton of Minnesota riders and spots that you may recognize. Another great Frozen Chozen Tour has came and went. If you made it to any of the events, you know that this is one of the best event series around the Midwest. The House of 1817 has a guest edit this week that was shot at Granite Peak in Wisconsin. Granite Peak made a few mistakes earlier this year, but their park is still one of the best around. Make sure to head out there this season if you get a chance. This video edit is produced by Sam Fenton who you might know from Bald E-Gal Productions. The final event of the Summit Boardshop Pro/Am series “ShredaMania” is coming up soon. ShredaMania will be on February 26th at 6pm and the location will be the Summit Backyard Park in Lake Elmo. For this final event there is a $3000 purse to be awarded! There will also be “Free Beer” for all the over-21 people in attendance… Even if you don’t like to watch snowboarding, get out there and support local shops by buying some of their gear that’s on sale!
Last weekend, Transworld Snowboarding hosted their annual TransAm Event at Buck Hill. If you have ever been to one of these events, you know that is one of the best mini-shred setups around. Tons of riders showed up to throw down, but Easton Gilman and Emily Blewitt walked away with first place and an invite to the TransAm finals at Bear Mountain in California. House of 1817 is at it again with a sick Monday Minute edit. This is another edit from everybody’s favorite shred park, Hyland. There are hammers galore from riders such as Jeffy, Jake OE, Jordan Michilot, DAnimals, and Ryan Paul! This is the kind of video that truly makes you want to go out and ride right away. The Faction Boardshop has announced the “Faction Challenge” which will be a jump and rail contest. The event will be held at Andes Tower Hills in Kensington Minnesota for all you Western residents. Faction recently announced that their will be a $250 cash prize for this event. Registration will be from 10-11am so get their early to ensure your spot for the contest which starts at 12pm noon. Make sure to get out there and support Faction Boardshop who has been doing a great job of representing Minnesota snowboarding.
