The Salomon Snowboard Team has been taking a Team Vacation all over the nation this year and recording the good times. One of their latest stops was our very own Hyland Hills. The Salomon team tears up the hill with guest appearances from several riders including Joe Sexton and Danimals.

Jesse Paul seems to be everywhere this year, and this time he is in a Working for the City edit. Jesse decides to put down tons of hammers in the Hyland park and there is a special guest appearance from Al Binder also. That is one good minute of riding.

Our friends over at YoBeat recently decided to put the Dakine Baron gloves to the test. Their test location was the infamous Hyland Hills tow rope. Anybody that rides in Minnesota knows that a good pair of mitt/gloves are key when it comes to surviving thousands of park laps that we love to do. The boys over at The Rental Shop put together a nice edit for the last day at Hyland. The riding of James Olson and Brady Reuter makes us wish the snowboard season wasn’t over.

The BLS Crew has been destroying everything in sight this year. This Park edit they put together is full of bangers and has a great soundtrack to go along with it. Be sure to check it out and watch locals Evan Ward, Thomas Edwards, Cole Linzmeyer, Colin Wilson, Justin Fronius, Jordan Daniels, and Josh Boeser make snowboarding look incredibly easy. This is yet another video edit that caught the attention of YoBeat! Nice job guys.

CandyGrind recently made this mini edit of some Minnesota riders at Hyland. As always Hyland looks like a blast with the riding of Joey Peterson, Shane Hoschette, Mitch Kirby, and Brady Lem. Check it out, then get out there and shred while it is still winter.

Ever since the GoPro video cameras came out, there has been a massive influx of horrible online snowboarding videos. Today though we noticed a very good GoPro produced video that was filmed at Hyland. We have never heard of Tom Schellhorn, Craig Cameron, or Dalton Zilles but we are impressed already. Nice works guys, keep it up.

If you snowboarded a long time ago, you know exactly what a Black Snow Snowboard was.   For all of the young kids out there, I will explain it a little bit.  Black Snow Snowboards were the kind of boards that you were scared to ride because they were so cheaply made.  They first made their debut in the early 80′s but weren’t allowed at many ski resorts because of their lack of metal edges.  The Canadian Ski Museum website has a little more info about them.  Anyways, enough with the history lesson and on with the video.  The video features Jonas Michilot tearing up Hyland on one of these safety hazard Black Snow boards…  This video will make you rethink buying the latest and greatest snowboard every year.  Watch the video by clicking the “read more” link below or the picture above.
