Zombie Boardshop Rail Jam Video

The annual Shred Til You’re Dead Halloween rail jam went down this weekend in Burnsville, Minnesota.  Zombie Boardshop as always hosted this great event.  There were many great costumes around which always creates a good vibe.  Even though the snow was sparse, the riders made the best of it.  Hopefully the weather will get colder so we can get some resorts open soon.  Check out the video after clicking the read more link below.  (If you’re reading this on Facebook, you must go to rideMinnesota.com to watch the video)

Summit Backyard Rail Jam this Weekend.

Summit Boardshop in Lake Elmo will be hosting a rail jam directly behind their shop this Saturday. The setup looks sick and there is a $1000 grand prize. There will be a cap of 100 riders so register early. The first heat will start at 1pm and the final jam will be at 6:30pm. Call Summit for more details or check our event section.

Wild Mountain Opening Today!

With a few successful nights of snow making, Wild Mountain will open today at 1 pm! Keeping with tradition Wild Mountain is once again the first area to open in the Midwest! Special thanks to Amy for sending over pictures throughout the process. Check out their website for more details and a view of the action on the webcam. The price for the day is $16 which is a steal for some early season shredding.

Shred til you're Dead IV

Zombie Boardshop in Burnsville is hosting it’s 4th annual Shred til you’re Dead rail jam. Zombie always throws a sick party with dj’s and a different setup every year. Also they will have food cooked up on a outdoor grill when the munchies hit. The store will be open with tons of 08-09 gear so stop in and spend some money at a local shop. Get out and check out the early season riding!

Travis Rice comes to Minneapolis for That’s It, That’s All. Amid the never-ending mission to find the next adventure comes a snowboard film that opens doors to the possibilities. Dedicated to everything snowboarding, Travis Rice and a dream team crew set out on a seek-and-destroy operation for the new zone, the new trick and the new perspective on the sport. This new Red Bull sponsored film will premier at the Pantages Theatre in downtown Minneapolis on October 17th. Check out the events section for more info.

FL Project rail jam at Trollhaugen

The FL Project Boardshop will be hosting the first rail jam of the year at Trollhaugen during their annual Harvest Festival. Get out there early as registration begins at 10am. There will also be several other activities during the festival which includes chair lift rides and wagon rides. Check Trollhaugen’s website for more info.

Afton Alps Fall Fair

Well it’s about that time of the year that the snowboarding buzz starts.  You really know it’s almost time when the ski resorts start having their annual fall fairs.  Afton’s fair and gear swap will be in early october this year.
