Jake Durham from Make Friends recently did some filming at Mont Du Lac. The park at Mont Du Lac has been getting better all year long and here is more proof of that. This edit contains amazing riding and it is a joy to watch like everything that comes from Jake.

This season has been absolutely terrible for getting some snowboarding done in the streets. We were a little late to pick up on this video, but a couple weeks ago the Jambox Crew made the best of what little snow there was in Duluth. A little creativity can make any situation fun as long as you have a snowboard strapped to your feet.

A few of the team riders from Jambox Shred Gear decided to film a session at the little ski hill near Duluth called Mont Du Lac. If you have never been there, it’s about time you pay the fun place a visit. Mont Du Lac has been working hard at improving their park, and you can see by this edit that things are coming together.

The boys from Abnormal Arts are back with another Duluth Montage from the 2011 season. This time it is an artsy edit featuring the riding of Daniel Spooner and Kai Sandal. The videos are rolling in people, get ready for Shred Flick Premier season.

Damage Boardshop recently hosted the early season Jibberjam at Lutsen Mountains. If anybody has ever been to this event, you will know it is a mellow good time. The Damage guys put together a nice little edit showing some of the session in the mini park. Thanks Damage for always putting on a good show.

Abnormal Arts and Freestyle of Duluth recently released a full-length snowboard film that you should check out.  The video features shots from Spirit Mountain and tons of Duluth street spots which you will recognize.  The riding impressed us, so I think you should give it a look if you are sitting around at home picking your nose.

Damage Boardshop in Duluth is encouraging everybody to take a part in Earth Day 2010.  They are asking everybody to please not use a motorized vehicle for the whole day today.  This means you can take your skateboard, bike, rollerskates, or whatever wheeled toy you might have.  Damage is then inviting everybody to the Northstar Pub at 7pm for a little evening fun run which you shouldn’t miss.  It’s always fun terrorizing the streets with a pack of skaters.  Even if you aren’t in Duluth, please try and ditch your motor for as long as possible today just to say thanks to the earth.

The University of Minnesota Duluth Snowboard club will be hosting a “Gnarbecue” on Saturday March 27th at Spirit Mountain. There will of course be grilling and riding going on at the same time! The festivities start at 11am and there will also be a rail jam at 1pm in the Damage mini park. The cost for the rail jam is $7 if you pre-register at Damage Boardshop or $10 at the hill. Get out there and ride one more jam!

Transworld has been busy filming all season for their new video “In Color” which is due out next fall.  They recently released an edit of their “B-roll” footage and it features a ton of Minnesota riders and spots that you may recognize.  There is even a scenic shot of Duluth which never gets enough love… Be sure to check out the video by clicking the “read more” link below and enjoy the riding by Jake OE, Keegan, and many others.
