10K Wakes Takes the Summer Off

Just in case you haven’t already heard Minnesota’s cable park 10k Wakes is taking the summer off all in the divine search for greener pastures. Looks like they will be moving their facility from New Germany to Blaine. This will be good news to many seeing as how most of the population has never even heard of New Germany much less want to travel there on a regular basis. For all those in need of aquatic thrills this summer you’ll just have peruse the lakes in search of that kind soul with room for one more. 10K is set to open up shop again in 2012.

SeekJoy Productions Visits the Cable Park

The cable park over at 10k Wakes has been receiving a lot of press lately.  This time it is local company SeekJoy Productions who paid the park a visit with a team of their riders.  SeekJoy always produces really smooth video edits, and this one is no different.  The riding is also buttery smooth with appearances by Josh Tranby, Mike Liddle, and Denver Jordan.  Check out the video and be sure to pay 10k Wakes a visit whenever you get a chance!

Beautiful Cable Video from Ryan Taylor

Wakeworld and Wakeboard Nebraska teamed together this year to throw the New Producer Video Contest. The goal of this contest is to find the best amateur wakeboard videographer which will be hired to produce a web release with Scott Byerly and other top pro riders. Minnesota local videographer Ryan Taylor produced an amazing entry for this contest that has blown people away already. The video features the 10k Wakes Cable Park plus some great riding from Chase Mastel and also Ryan Taylor himself. 10k Wakes Cable Contest Video

A couple of week ago, 10K Wakes hosted their first contest on the newly completely cable park in New Germany, Minnesota. The contest featured some great local riders and you can really see them using all the features in this video. Congrats to Chase Mastel who took first place in the event with Kyle Rieck and Mike Liddle following close behind. We would like to thank Evan Wolf for the video of the event. Phun Promotions recently came back to Minnesota and while they were here they took some time to do some riding. Jade Whirley, Lana Merkley and the rest of the Phun Promotions gang took some time to hit up the lakes as well as the 10K Wake Park while they were in town.
