It’s that time of the year when the weather starts getting colder and our minds start switching over to snow mode. Luckily for us, Volcom has decided to provide a free showing tomorrow night (9/8/10) of their latest Snowboard Film “9191” at the Varsity Theater. The mastermind behind the movie Gigi Ruf will be there signing autographs if you get there early. So get off your couch and be sure to make it out for a drool session while watching some great snowboarding.
The People Crew recently premiered their latest snowboard film “Cheers” in Southern California. Although we are a fair distance from the West Coast, the news has traveled fast that local boy wonder Joe Sexton received the ender in the film! Transworld Snowboarding did a write up on the premier and had the following to say about Joe, “He is really on and earned that last part.” We are very happy to see Joe achieve the prestigious honor of the last part and we like to congratulate him! Pick up a copy of “Cheers” when it hits the shop shelves this fall.
The last batch of rideMinnesota shirts were popular sellers and we would like to thank everybody for the support! The next generation rideMN shirts are now available and we will be selling them at the Minnesota State Fair. So put down those cheese curds and come check out our shirts which will attract the opposite sex much better than fat fried food. Granite Peak has been raising the bar when it comes to park features in the last year or two. This time they unveiled several new log/pole jib features which will be located in the wooded areas of the resort. This is definitely a first for a Minnesota/Wisconsin resort and I have to tip my hat to them for doing it. Get in your car and drive to that little Wisconsin town of Wausau this season and try them out!
