Everybody’s favorite park within the city Hyland Hills opened last weekend. Even though the weather wasn’t great, the riders pushed on for a fun opening weekend. We even spotted quite a few rideMN stickers out there, thanks for the support everybody! Watch this nicely edited video and get out to Hyland for some park fun as soon as you can.
The weather has taken a bit of a turn for the worse lately when it comes to snowmaking, but Minnesota resorts are still open for business. We have seen a bunch of opening week videos, but they have trickled off a bit lately. Luckily, we were provided with this sick edit from Troll which was filmed during Thanksgiving break. Watch as Jack Yelle, Mike Liddle, and Evan Ward slay the park up in Dresser, Wisconsin.
For the last two years Wild Mountain has hosted the Ollies for Alzheimer’s snowboard event. The event is organized by Viktor Simco, Damage Boardshop and Wild Mountain with the goal to support Alzheimer’s research. You couldn’t ask for a better reason to go snowboarding and every year the event brings with it a good vibe all-around. This year we couldn’t join in the fun, but local photographer Nathaniel Harrington was there to snap some pictures of the good times. If you didn’t make it there this year, be sure to put it on your calendar for next season, we know we will. For all the pictures, please visit Nathaniel’s blog.
The Working for the City crew has been getting their early season warm-ups done lately at Trollhaugen and Wild Mountain. They produced a little “Preseason” edit as a small taste of the action. The edit is packed full of solid riding from Ethan Deiss, Jonas Michilot, Cole Linzmeyer, and many others. Watch this, get pumped, then hope for some colder weather.
Wild Mountain has been open the last two weekends with fun setups to get your early-season shred on. If you didn’t make it out last weekend you missed out on some good times, but luckily Danny Kutnink was there to produce a slick little edit for you. How could you go wrong with a soundtrack like this?
