Every year Bear Mountain in California hosts the best early-season rail jam called Hot Dawgs and Hand Rails. This invite-only event brings in some of the best riders and is truly the start of another snowboard season. This year a bunch of Minnesota riders were invited, and guess what, two of those riders where in the top 3. Ryan Paul pulled out the win and Jesse Paul came in third. Congrats guys! Role Model Productions recently released their full video “Cockfight” for free on the interwebz. It turns out the video is packed full of Minnesota riders and spots. Grab some popcorn and watch such locals as Mike Casanova, Chad Otterstrom, Krister Ralles, and others make it look easy.
News regarding Ryan Paul has been fairly quiet lately, but he is back with the Giro Crew and he throws down as usual. The Giro Crew came to Minnesota with the goal of getting some urban shots and we can definitely say the accomplished that. Watch as Ryan, Anton Gunnarson, and Austen Granger put on a show for filmer Sam Fenton.
Local videographer Jon Stark teased us earlier this year with the full length video “Working for the City.” The video is now available for free and we have to say it is better than some of those major releases that you have to pay for. The video is well done and the riding is on point. Tons of locals in here and you can’t miss the ender from Justin Fronius. Watch it now.
