The boys over at Get Healthy Productions made the trip up to Powder Ridge for the Bald E-Gal cup event. While they were up there they produced a sick follow-cam video featuring the riding of the Overson Twins, Ricky Koukal, and many more. The footage may be a bit shaky, but the jibs were as smooth as can be.
Well we really dropped the ball on this story, but better late than never right? Local rider Jesse Paul recently won the Analog Design Unlikely Features contest in which the goal was for the average joe to design a jib feature that people dream of. Jesse’s prize was a real-life build of a feature plus a paid trip out to Bear Mountain to compete on his creation. It just so happened that Jesse took first place in the contest. Well played Jesse, well played. Watch the video here and keep wishing for interesting features like this around here.
We’re a bit late on the update for this one but it’s better late then never. Academy Snowboards are having a contest at Hyland Hills on New Years Eve. The event goes from 8:30am to 3pm and will cost you $10 to enter. So get out there and win some cash, snowboards and more (*more has yet to be defined but must be something you are also interested in owning, winning or receiving and hopefully valued at over $10).
Summit’s Backyard Park getting put to good use by Sam Jorgensen and the guys from Get Healthy Productions. If you haven’t been to the park yet make sure to get out and enjoy.
