The guys over at SeekJoy Productions recently put out a teaser for their video “Rookie Status.” By the look of the teaser, this will be a good video to check out in the fall. The editing skills at SeekJoy just keep improving with each segment that we watch! The video will feature many different Minnesota riders including Aaron Becker, Josh Tranby, Colton Maddy, Jordan Daniels, Alex Miller, Tony Young, Chaz Chaffee, Shane Hoschette, and Jesse Paul. Even though the weather looked extremely bad right before the AmThrash Spring Rail Jam, a large group of shredders showed up at Wild Mountain. The weather took a turn for the better and everybody had a good time on what little snow was left on the hill. Many riders ended up covered in mud, but a good time seemed to be had by all that showed up. Thank you to Wild Mountain for hosting this event as always! The rideMinnesota crew was there to take pictures of the event which you should check out.
Ryan Taylor is a very well known photographer around the Twin Cities. You will spot him at most Minnesota events no matter if it is skateboarding, wakeboarding, or snowboarding. I’ve always been blown away by his work with a still camera, but this video truly shows his skills in video editing too. This was filmed on a GoPro HD camera which is actually pretty affordable. I bet this video will make you want to buy one… Watch the video here by clicking the “read more” link below or by clicking the image above.
Unless you have been sleeping under a rock, you know that Ryan Paul has been doing big things lately. The latest big happening for him was an interview with Transworld Snowboarding! Ryan of course breezed through the interview with his typical laid-back style. Once again, congrats Ryan! Check out the full interview on Transworld’s site.
Recently, I was introduced to a small apparel company which is based out of Rosemount, Minnesota. This small company is called Hidden and is really something you should check out. Hidden was nice enough to send out a sample of their product to us and I can’t say enough good things about it. They sent us out the “Stash” hat which is an amazing design and it follows it up with tons of great details all over. Who doesn’t love mustaches and goggles?!?! The hat was also packaged in a Hidden branded box with a personal note inside, it’s not everyday you see a special touch like that. Save up your lunch money, and please support this great local brand. Check out their website at www.hiddenapparel.com.
