We haven’t heard from Bald E-Gal Productions for a while because of the fact that they are out filming for their video. The University of Minnesota Duluth Snowboard club will be hosting a “Gnarbecue” on Saturday March 27th at Spirit Mountain. There will of course be grilling and riding going on at the same time! The festivities start at 11am and there will also be a rail jam at 1pm in the Damage mini park. The cost for the rail jam is $7 if you pre-register at Damage Boardshop or $10 at the hill. Get out there and ride one more jam!
The SeekJoy Productions team headed up to Spirit Mountain to do some spring shredding on Saint Patrick’s day. It looks like some great riding went down even in the spring-time conditions. Make sure to get up there to Spirit as they have some of the best conditions around still. Check out the video by clicking on the “read more” link below this article. (if you are reading this on Facebook, you must go to rideMinnesota.com to watch the videos).
As you may have noticed, this March has been unusually warm here in Minnesota. Sadly the ski hills are closing earlier than expected. Trollhaugen,Wild Mountain, and Buck Hill all decided to close for the season this week. There are a couple places still open this weekend for you to get your shred on, so make sure to get out and ride that slush. If you can’t get out this weekend anywhere, Lutsen is still claiming that they will be open until their Mountain Meltdown Festival on April 10th and 11th! Get those wakeboards and skateboards ready for spring.
