Wild Mountain originally opened October 28th but was forced to close after one week due to warm weather. Well they are back on track so get out their and support your local hill. Keep an eye also on Buck Hill and Afton who have been making snow as much as possible. You can check out the action on their webcams. See you out there.

Real Snow is Falling!!!

It feels good to wake up to our first morning of real snow coming from the sky. Many people made it to Wild Mountain when they had the early season one run tease open, but now here comes the real thing. The temps are also supposed to drop this weekend so let’s keep our fingers crossed for some good nights of snowmaking around the state. Keep checking the resort websites and rideMinnesota will definitely let you know who opens first again. Pray for snow!
